Message from President
I am delighted to have you with BELL DATA's homepage.
We, BELL DATA, Inc., are now focusing on building an "One Stop Service" in order to fully satisfy all the demands you have on IT.
In July of 1991, we started our business for sales of servers, which are made by IBM, as well as for rendering maintenance services for the servers, specializing in AS/400 (System i), RS/6000 (System p) and PC servers.
Since from the inauguration, we have been all the way along offering our proprietary solution to make the customers cut back their IT related cost, through our engineer's maintenance services and/or the combination of new server systems.

As the result, we are now being favorably supported by a lot of customers, while the quality of our engineering capability is more and more getting particularly high appreciation.
For responding to the customers' demands, we have been expanding the scope of service to ,at this stage, [sales of server systems], [solution offering], [our own rental], [maintenance services], and [outsourcing support] such as housing or disaster recovery, and they are positioned as the five main stays of our extending business activity.
In the meantime, we are daily grinding ourselves in our office under the slogan of [Let's grow, Let's develop each other] with key words of [an organization is viable just by human] and [There is never ever saturation point on education].
Although the economic environment and community structure around us are changing from day to day, BELL DATA always takes a making acquaintance with human and/or a making acquaintance with company to be both precious relations. Our motto is “Be honest” for the customers, the business and the society. We will vigorously pursue “One Stop Service” under the concept that to improve every customer's satisfaction should be most prioritized.

1991: The Company was established at Kudan-Minami, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo
and launched the sales of IBM systems.

SYSTEM DEPARTMENT
System Department renders support of the customers’ system operation, consulting about the system and building it as well as provides a project management of customers’ introducing new system. They are proud of extensive knowledge about operation system, networking and application software with accumulated experience.
This department is exploiting and developing application packages related to not only e-commerce but also every segment of business application.
ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT
Engineering Department provides maintenance and setting of hardware, as well as maintenance of networking, while it operates a call center for maintenance service. The service is not limited to repairs of hardware, but extensive operational consultation including isolation of cause of failure on software or communication equipment and back up of it.

In this connection, the department helps Sales Department based on more professional viewpoint to confirm correctness and appropriateness of configuration of systems.
SALES DEPARTMENT
Sales Department offers a valuable solution with IBM System i (AS/400) , System p (RS/6000) or System x. It sells or makes rental of systems including the machine used or of parallel import, while it offers the best solution, in terms of customer’s view point, from variety of service menu for hardware maintenance, SE support and outsourcing services. Ultimate goal of our offering is always to minimize the cost of customers.
BUSINESS PLANNING DEPARTMENT
Business Planning Department explores any new product while it publishes free e-mail magazine (10,000 subscribers) and carries special home page, both focusing to technical items including tech tips, and to features of new products at the purpose of satisfying our customers’ desire to catch up the trend and the movement of market and user community.
